About Peace Lily House Roma - Our Story and Mission

Our Commitment to Youth Wellbeing and Growth

Why We Do What We Do

Young people should not struggle in isolation - and neither should their families.

In South West Queensland, many families are navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, medical challenges and the lasting impacts of the pandemic.  Access to face-to-face therapeutic and psychological support in regional communities can be limited, leaving families feeling overwhelmed and alone.

We believe families are the experts in their own young people.  Our role is to walk alongside them, without judgement, providing practical,  in-person support that strengthens wellbeing, rebuilds daily functioning and supports engagement in learning.

Every young person deserves to feel safe, understood and capable - and every family deserves support grounded in respect and collaboration.

Meet Our Team and Explore Our Approach

Our multidisciplinary team of long-term Roma locals brings decades of experience, warmth, and a youth-friendly approach to provide individualised care. As locals ourselves, we understand the importance of privacy, confidentiality, and creating a safe, welcoming environment where young people and families feel comfortable and at ease. We invite families and professionals to engage with us, learn about our programs, and grow together in supporting young people’s journeys.
